Wisconsin Trip

Our second venture up to Wisconsin was to visit Canoe Bay, an intimate Relais & Chateau property in northeastern Wisconsin, approximately 2 hours east of Minneapolis, MN. The resort is located adjacent to a quiet lake, and features Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired architecture that blends in seamlessly with the wooded surroundings.

There are just 21 rooms and cottages at Canoe Bay, but what attracted us most to the resort was the award winning wine list and dining room. Canoe Bay has been featured in Wine Spectator multiple times and we were excited to try the food and wine. We were not disappointed and enjoyed two wonderful meals and some great wine. We will definitely return!
