Camping Trip

Back in Wisconsin this summer for our second camping trip. This time, we choose a campsite in southeastern Wisconsin called Wildcat Mountain State Park. Located in Ontario, the campsite was adjacent to the Kickapoo River.

Feeling brave, we decided to rent a canoe to navigate the Kickapoo River. This decision proved to be a mistake as the river was quite fast moving in spots and the canoe was prone to tipping.

A few near misses and a dramatic accident later, we made it to the end of the river, with most of our body parts intact. Needless to say, we will not be renting a canoe again the near future.
