Winter Ski Trip

We took a long ski weekend in California at Mammoth Mountain. Mammoth is about a five hour drive from Los Angeles and is located in the Eastern Sierras.

We stayed in a condo at Snowcreek with some friends and enjoyed spending time on and off the mountain. Some of our favorite places in town include apres ski at The Yodler, Shogun for sushi, and Clocktower Cellar for drinks. Nevados and Skadi are great for fine dining, as well as the Restaurant at Convict Lake.

On the way back home, we spent the afternoon in Manhattan Beach. It was wonderful to enjoy some 80 degree temps in February before heading back to freezing cold Chicago.
