We decided to venture north to Vermont to experience some New England camping. We chose Emerald Lake State Park in Dorset and enjoyed a scenic lakeside location as well as close proximity to some of Vermont's natural wonders.
Heading north from Emerald Lake, we drove to up to Killington, and then to Woodstock, a charming all-American town, where we stumbled on (and almost participated in) a town parade. Heading east from Woodstock, we checked out Quechee Gorge, an amazing sight and natural wonder.
No dining highlights on this trip, as we cooked all of our meals at the campsite. However, we would definitely return to Woodstock!
